About Us
What's @homebusybodies?
Half-day preschool program for children 3 to 5-year-olds dedicated to bringing quality standards to home-based childcare. We are located in Covington (GA) off exit 90.
Monday-Friday
9 am- 3 pm
We currently offer :
​Drop in care (no contract) $50 per day
&
Weekly preschool program (contract):
5/ days
M/T/W/TH/F
$155 weekly tuition
or
3/days
M/W/F
$140 weekly tuition

*breakfast, lunch and snack served daily
* Upon enrollment, a non-refundable deposit of $60 is due to hold your child space and pay for supplies when enrolled in our preschool program. (This fee doesn't apply to drop-in or date night care)

@Homebusybodies is owned and operated by Mrs. Thema Houston , a early childhood enthusiast with over 10 years of experience and an associates degree. Her passion for preschoolers & motherhood inspired the launch of a preschool she could call her OWN !

Quality Child Care
@Homebusybodies adheres to a student-centered approach to learning where students are at the center of every lesson and activity and opportunities are provided for them to engage in collaborative activities with teachers and peers on a daily basis. Students are exposed to basic foundational skills and various learning experiences in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Our Standards

Research shows that 90 percent of a child's brain develops in the first five years of life. We strive to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum and engage in practices that target the five developmental domains in early learning.
Physical Development - We involve your child in fun ways to practice their fine and gross motor skills.
Approaches to Learning - Our focus is on developing and enhancing your child's eagerness to learn by incorporating activities that encourage curiosity, persistence, and creative problem solving.
Social & Emotional Development - Our approach is to establish a consistent and predictable learning environment that incorporates character development and life skills to support children in becoming self-regulated and responsible for their learning.
Language, Communication, & Emergent Literacy - We target listening and understanding, speaking, vocabulary, sentences and structure as well as emergent reading and writing to develop your child's literacy skills and foster a love of reading.
Cognitive Development and General Knowledge - We stimulate creative thinking and imagination by incorporating exploration, discovery, memory formation, reasoning, creative expression at the forefront of all learning.
